Show Mount Pleasant Soldier Boys Depart For Front; Provo Their First Stop The soldiers, who were called for duty, left Mount Pleasant Sunday afternoon af-ternoon for service at the front. The Goddess of Liberty in tableau by Florence Clemensen together with the solo "A Flag Without One Stain" by Miss Frances Jensen was very impressive. im-pressive. Miss Nettie Beaumann rendered a beautiful solo. The remarks re-marks made by Mayor Rasmussen, Capt. Braby and Capt. Neilson were very timely. The band gave several patriotic selections. The Red Cross demonstration was a credit to the twelve little girls who were dressed in uniform for the occasion. |
