Quite a little excitement has been going around Provo tor the past few days regarding two hird men sighted sight-ed dropping over Timpanoi'os and disappearing out of sight recently. Arthur ( raven saw them lirst and called J. T. Farrer and Frank Corey's attention to same. They were so far away that it has been questioned by tome whether these men really saw the bird men at all. Hut later re-' re-' ports from farmers on the P.ench and others virtually confirm these re-l re-l ports. One young man claims that I one of these airplanes came to earth j north of here and arose again and went on its way. j Airplanes in Southern Utah ! Satisfied that enemy airplanes have been flying over southern Utah, Leon Hone, special ivestigator for the department of justice, lias asked that the war department send airplanes to til is state to make an investigation of the reports which have come from San Juan and Grand counties as to nightly flights of airplanes. Cable to Germany It is claimed by the department of justice that the cables cannot be used to Europe in order to send information, in-formation, but that all information concerning ship and troop movements move-ments are telegraphed from the east to some point in this state or In Arizona and that the airplanes are used in carrying this information into Mexico, from where the cablse are used to relay it to Germany and Austria.
