Engineer-ing. They will visit here with their parents for a week or two. Keith Lawrence, son of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Lawrence and Mark Dalley, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. Frank Dalley left Saturday Sat-urday for Logan to attend Boys' State. They are both very active at Parowan High School where Mark will be Student Body President and Keith the Editor of the year book next year. at the Hulet home. Mr. and Mrs. Dee El Stapley and family spent several days in Salt Lake City where they visited with Mrs. Stapley's mother, Mrs. Viola Nielson. A son Steve, remained with his grandmother for a longer visit and they brought a niece, Miss Vicki Beck of Taylors-ville Taylors-ville back here for a weeks stay. They brought Lynette and Brent Adams, children of Mr. and Mrs. Conley Adams of Hunter, Utah back here to spend three weeks with their grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Jack Farrow. Dr. and Mrs. Autorey Lawrence Lawr-ence and daughter Barbara Jean of Gunnison, Colo, are here to spend the week with their father and family members, mem-bers, Wilford Lawrence, the Alma Lawrence's and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Farrow. Another family member, Boyd Lawr- Mrs. Donna Davenport Mr. and Mrs. Oscar J. Hulet celebrated their Golden Wedding Wed-ding Anniversary Friday evening ev-ening with their children hosting an open house at their home. They are Mr. and Mrs. Leonard (Dorothy) Mickelson of Powell, Wyo.; Mr. and Mrs. Kent Hulet, Cedar City; Mr. and Mrs. Carlisle Hulet and Mr. and Mrs. Carl (Marjorie) Evans, Summit. Most of their 21 grandchildren were in attendance. at-tendance. Also the following brothers and sisters of the couple: Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Adams, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Adams, Ad-ams, Mr. and Mrs. Rex Hulet, Mrs. Pauline Neptune, Mrs. Rdhecca Matheson, Mr, and Mrs. Duayne Matheson all of Cedar City, Mrs. Ella Adams, Las Vegas, and Mrs. Delphia Walker of Salt Lake City. Sunday visitors included Mr. and Mrs. Clair Rowley and President and Mrs. Ther-on Ther-on Ashcroft of St. George. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Hulet entertained at their home in Cedar Cltv Mav 24th at a ence of Escandido, Calif., visited vis-ited here Friday before going on to Escalante to visit with a son, Rex Lawrence and family. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Johnson John-son and son Calvin have spent the past several weeks In Salt Lake City visiting with family members. Word reached here last week of the arrival of a baby daughter to the Johnsons. Mr. and Mrs. Kent Larkin and little daughter of Provo visited here recently with their folks, Mr. and Mrs. Hy-rum Hy-rum Humpherys and left Corey for a week's stay. Mrs. Larkin returned here for the little girl and remained for another week. The Kent Humpherys of Cedar City visited vis-ited with them, Sunday. Ivan Dalley traveled to Salt Lake City over the weekend . , family dinner in honor of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Hulet's Golden Wedding. Wed-ding. All available family members attended. The Poka Dotta Chiefs 4-H Club held their first meeting last week. Jeanne Evans was elected president; Chad Hulet, vice-president and song leader; lead-er; Traycl Dalton, Secretary; Bruce Evans, reporter. Mrs. Marjorie Evans is their leader. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Rowley Row-ley and Darryl Davenport were in St. George Thursday of last week to attend the Temple Wedding of Sharon Rowley and Scott Potter of Parowan. Dr. and Mrs. Stanley Dalley of Provo and Mrs. Mildred Sargent of Cedar City visited here with Mr. and Mrs. Otto Dalley and also attended the Golden Wedding celebration |
