Show Parowan students attend Boy's State at HSU Hi VI AW i 1(,w Mm Four junior students at the Parowan High School, arc on the campus of Utah State University Uni-versity this week, taking part in the annual Boys' State activities, ac-tivities, sponsored by the American Legion, department of Utah. They, were taken to Logan Sunday afternoon by Wayne Hermansen, commander command-er of Parowan Post No. 20 of the American Legions. The four in attandance are Mark Dalley, Rex Burton, Rich Dalton and Keith Lawrence, selected recently from the school. Dalley is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Dalley, summit. sum-mit. He will be president of sports and music, as a member mem-ber of the basketball team and the brass sextette. He was recently chosen as president of the Seminary student body from the coming year. . Dalton, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Warren A. Dalton is an outstanding student in drama and music and was a member mem-ber of the past year's assembly assem-bly committee. Keith is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Alma Lawrence, also as l Summit. He has served as assistant as-sistant editor of the "Parara-' "Parara-' ma", school yearbook and will be editor next year. He too is .active in drama and music , at the school. AT BOYS' STATE at USU in Logan are Mark Dalley, Rich Dalton. Keith Lawrence and Rex Burton from Parowan High the Parowan High student bady next season. He is active ac-tive in athletics, in radio and other extra curricular affairs at the school. Burton, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Burton, of this city is the newly elected vice president of the high school student body. He is active in |
