GARY LYNN CARTWRIGHT I Open House here honors newlyweds, j Mr. and Mrs. Donald Lynn Gartwright I and Mrs. K Chamberlain with Mrs. Chamberlain at the organ or-gan furnishing background music. Flowers were furnished furnish-ed by Mrs. Alma Jones. The bride's bouquet at the open house was of yellow daisies, the bridesmaids had nosegays of yellow carnations and the mothers of both bride and bridegroom wore corsages of pink and white carnations. Their honeymoon consisted of three days at Park City. The bride is a graduate of the Uintah High School and the Utah Technical College in Salt Lake and is now employed employ-ed there. Gary is a graduate of Parowan High, attended SUSC and is also a graduate of the Utah Technical College Col-lege in Salt Lake City. The Ashley Stake Center in Vernal was the setting for a recent wedding which united Miss Kathleen Long, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Denver Long, of that city, and Gary Lynn Cartwright, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Cartwright of Parowan. Bishop Niles Haslem of the Ashley Ward performed the double-ring ceremony which was witnessed by members of both families, and a few close friends. A reception was held following the wedding. For the event, the bride wore a white floor-length gown of satin and lace with long sleeves and a scalloped neckline. Tiers of lace on the skirt were accented with sequins. se-quins. Her fingertip veil of bridal illusion was caught by a crown of satin flowers with rhinestone centers on a large white satin bow as a base with lace petals. The bridal bouquet featured an arrangement of pink car- nations centered around a corsage of pink roses. The bride's attendants were Mrs. Robert Esplin, sister of the bridegroom, matron of honor; Miss Lonnie Edring-ton, Edring-ton, Miss Nancy Long, sister of the bride, at the reception. At open house, Mrs. R. E. Esplin, Es-plin, Mrs. Lyle Walker, Cedar City; Miss Nancy Long, Vernal. Ver-nal. They wore street length dresses of aqua satin, featuring featur-ing empire waistlines and white accessories. They carried car-ried nosegays of daisies and carnations.. Best man was Robert Esplin, and ushers were Robert Cartwright, Cart-wright, Kenneth Long, Craig Kennedy, and Loren and Brent Sheffer. Mother's of the bride and bridegroom wore similar dresses dres-ses of pink polyester, A-line with white accessories and yellow glamelia corsages at wedding. An open house was held in honor of the couple in the Parowan Third Ward cultural hall on May 29. Bridesmaids at the open house were Mrs. Robert Esplin, Esp-lin, Miss Nancy Long and Mrs. Lyle Walker. Ushers were Mr. Carlyle Gurr, Mr. Lynn Cartwright, and Mr. Alan Orton. At the guest book was Mrs. Alan Orton and at the gift tables were Miss Cynthia Freeman and Mrs. James Adams. Serving were Miss Clara Freeman, Miss Char-lene Char-lene and Miss Marlcne Iloli-man Iloli-man and Miss Christine Bryant. Bry-ant. Gift bearers were the Misses Laurie Dryant and Wendy Stubbs.
