Show MIA Groups Have , Party On Tuesday The Junior Gleaners, M Men and Junior M Men participated in a progressive supper last Tuesday evening, in place of their regular class work. Hostesses Hos-tesses were Marilyn Peterson, Ann Peterson and Phyllis Ek-sund, Ek-sund, who entertained the following fol-lowing classmates and MIA officers: of-ficers: Connie Bastian, Jennie Lee Hacking, Arake Horrocks, Shirley Cloward, Edna Mitchell, Neill Duncan, Sheldon Spencer. Blaine Horrocks, Gerald Hen-rie, Hen-rie, Sherene Henrie, Woodrow Wilkerson, Marjorie Harrison, Margaret Dye, Lecta Horrocks, Larry Dye. Neill Jensen is sporting a new Ford car. Mrs. Preston Mitchell was a Salt Lake City visitor last week. While there she received medical attention for a heart ailment. Mr. and Mrs. Berle Bell, of Vernal, were visitors at the home of Mrs. Bell's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Royal Horrocks, last week. Miss Edith Wilkerson, of Hol-laday, Hol-laday, spent a few days last week at the home of her broth'-er, broth'-er, Edwin. Mr. and Mrs. Morris Winn were called to Salt Lake City last week by the illness of their daughter-in-law, Mrs. Vee Winn. IN TRAINING Word has been received by Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Anderton that their son, Ralph, who recently re-cently enlisted in the Navy, has arrived in San Diego, and began his training at the Naval base there. Rulon Smithson, who has been attending the BYU, spent a few days here last week with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Nephi Smithson. He plans on continuing continu-ing his studies during the summer sum-mer quarter. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee were visitors at the Theron Horrocks' Hor-rocks' home last week. Mr. Lee recently returned from Korea, where he was stationed with the Marine Corps. During his absence, Mrs. Lee has been living liv-ing at her home in Bisbee, Arizona. |
