Show -Arcadia Mrs. Elsie Bird Injured In Fall From Load Of Hay Henry Richens fell off a load of hay, Tuesday, and was rendered ren-dered unconscious. He was taken tak-en to the Roosevelt Hospital, where he received medical care. He suffered some broken ribs and bruises. He was able to return re-turn home a few days later. Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross entertained en-tertained at a turkey dinner Sunday. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Ab Ross and family, of Salt Lake; Floyd Ross and children chil-dren and Mrs. Diehl, of Roosevelt; Roose-velt; Mr. and Mrs. Gwen Bodily, Bod-ily, of Randlett, and Donna Ross, of Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Marr Bell and girls made a trip to Spanisn Fork during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Ross took a truck load of cattle to Salt Lake, Sunday. Lynn Ross attended the telephone tele-phone meeting in Roosevelt, on Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jensen made a business trip to Vernal on Monday. Mrs. Ida Horrocks took her son, Evan, to' Vernal, Monday for medical treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Hamilton and family, of Tooele, visited during the week at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate, and Mr. and Mrs. Marvin G. Shields. Mrs. Lois Terpening, Deon Bird, Mrs. Gladys Capson, Delaine De-laine Bird, Mildred Bird and Donna Larsen went to Salt Lake Friday to attend M.I.A. conference. confer-ence. Frank J. Hale and sons, of Grantsville, are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hale Holgate. Earl Jordan and Mrs. Nona Rowley, stake Sunday School officers, visited Sunday School here June 13. BIRTHDAY DINNER Mrs. Ora Holgate entertained at a birthday dinner in honor of her daughter, Betty Evans, on 'Wednesday. Present were Mr. and Mrs. Orvil Hamilton and family, Bud and Douglas Holgate, Conrad Evans, Chad Evans and children and the honored hon-ored guest. Mildred Bird was taken to Roosevelt, Monday, where she received medical treatment. Mr. and Mrs. Art Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Smith and son, Billy', of Tooele, spent the weekend week-end at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marion S. Shields. Mrs. Art Smith is Mrs. Shields' sister. sis-ter. Mr. and Mrs. Byron Gilbert, of Provo, attended Sacrament meeting Sunday night. Byron was the speaker. Reed Fairbanks, of Salt Lake City, called at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Hansen. Mr. and Mrs. Scott Lusty went to Salt Lake Friday, where Mrs. Lusty had a medical checkup. check-up. DINNER GUESTS Dinner guests Sunday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marvin G. Shields were, Mr. and Mrs. Art Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Smith and son, of Tooele; Mr. and Mrs. Wanless Shields, of Bridgeland; Mrs. Gladys Ross, sons, Leon, Larry and Lanny. Visitors at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas M. Gilbert on Wednesday were Mrs. Geneva Gen-eva Gilbert, daughter, Tenna, Mrs. Maurine Bellon, daughter Becky, Mrs. Byron Gilbert and children, all of Roosevelt. Visitors during the week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lynn Ross were Earl Massey, of Provo.. Pro-vo.. Lorriol Carpenter, of Salt Lake, is visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Jensen. Henry Schaefermeyer, Uintah State Bank fieldman, called on all the people that bank with them during the week. |
