Show Party Honors The Louis Reeses A farewell party for Louis Reese was held at the Frontier Grill last week. There were about 40 people present, mostly REA personnel and their partners, part-ners, from Rangely and Alta-mont. Alta-mont. Gifts were presented to both Mr. and Mrs. Reese. They were Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Jones and son, of Provo, Pro-vo, and Leland Hair and son, LaMar, of Salt Lake City. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Peterson and their two daughters, of Salt Lake, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Ned Mitchell Saturday and took their son, David, who had been the Mitchells' houseguest for a week, back to Salt Lake with them. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. R. Evans and two daughters went to Provo Pro-vo and Salt Lake last weekend, to visit relatives and attend conference. con-ference. Mr. and Mrs. Lowell Bennion, of Salt Lake, were out to visit with the Bennions last Tuesday and Wednesday. Carl Lister was in Mt. Emmons Em-mons for the weekend. His children, chil-dren, Jim, Ann and Richard, returned with him. They had been in Salt Lake for two weeks while their brother, Ray, took Mrs. Iva Dell Robbins to California. Cal-ifornia. Mr. and Mrs. Bruce Hartman attended the $100-plate Republican Repub-lican dinner in Salt Lake at the Rainbow Rondevu on June 5. Mr. and Mrs. Ken Thayne, of Salt Lake, spent the weekend of the opening of fishing season sea-son at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Evan Hansen. Mr. and Mrs. Evan Bennion were dinner guests last Wednesday Wed-nesday evening of Mrs. Ruth Madsen in Altonah. Mrs. John Carlile, of Kamas, is a houseguest at the home of Mrs. Gordon Case. Dave Orr, of Salt Lake, and his three sons have been in Mt. Emmons and vicinity for the past week. Two of the boys are staying with Grant Hansen. Mr. and Mrs. Kelly SprOuse and children spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Case and family. |
