Show Attend P-TA Meet Mrs. David Lundberg and Mrs. Erie Hatch attended the P-TA convention held in Ogden two days last week. They attended at-tended a luncheon at the Ogden school, and a banquet at Hotel Ben Lomond. Mrs. Sarah Norton, of La-point, La-point, has been visiting at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Von Haslem, at Alterra. Mr. and Mrs. Max Farnsworth have moved from Ballard tor Neola. 'Mrs. Earl Gardner and two daughters and Perry Bingham accompanied Gary Gardner to Provo to attend the graduation exercises at the B.Y.U. Russel Todd attended the school board meeting at Vernal last Tuesday. Sunday School Faculty meeting meet-ing was held Wednesday evening eve-ning at the home of Mr. and Mrs. David Lundberg, with fifteen fif-teen present. One stake board member was also' present. The faculty lesson was given by Wendel Johnson. Matters Of business were discussed, after which refreshments were served John Smith and Ivan DeMille, of Vernal, are doing some remodeling re-modeling in the Alterra kitchen and dining room. A GRADUATE Enoch Stolla. son of Mr. and Mrs. Eric A. Stolla, was listed with the graduates from the University of Utah this year. He left immediately for Cali fornia, where he has employment. employ-ment. Mrs. Eller, of Vernal, was at Ballard again on Tuesday to help some of the ladies who' are re-doing furniture. Mrs. S. A. Brighton, Mrs. Lawrence Brighton and Mrs. Don Killian motored to Salt Lake City on Thursday, where they visited with relatives. Mrs. Angus Anderson attend ed ast meeting at Myton last Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Joe Kocheve:, of Grass Valley, Calif., visited at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Gardner and Mrs. Effie Winn this past week. They had come to Provo to attend the graduation exercises of their daughter, Norma Jean. Mr. and Mrs. Jack H. Cook brought their infant son home from Salt Lake City last Sunday. Sun-day. At present the baby is getting get-ting along alright. Lawrence Brighton in down with the flu at this writing. Mr. and Mrs. Karl Shisler are the very proud parents of a baby girl, born to them at the Roosevelt Hospital, June 11. This is their second daughter daugh-ter and the proud grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Tom Shisler and Mr. and Mrs. Mont S. Poul-son, Poul-son, of Duchesne. Mrs. Eulila Clingler and three sons, and Mr. and Mrs. Fred Spaulding, of Rexburg, Idaho, are visiting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Boyd Winn. Mrs. Clingler is the mother of Mrs. Winn, and Mrs. Spaulding, her sister. Larry Zufelt has enlisted for duty in the armed forces. Mr. and Mrs. Eric A. Stolla and daughter, Clara, went to Salt Lake to spend the weekend. week-end. Clara expects to remain in Brigham City for the summer. 4-H CLUBS START Sewing and cooking 4-H clubs were organized Tuesday at the Ballard ward chapel. |
