Show Mrs. Bertha Angus Mrs. Violet Gentry Our Boys In Service John Fausett, MM 3 Class, who is on A. J. Isbell ship, 'is now finishing four years of service in the Navy. He has been to Korea and Japan having spent 18 months overseas. He is to receive a promotion from Mechanics' Mate and will go to Indo China the first of August. Aug-ust. John expects to receive his release from the service in June or August, 1955. He is a graduate grad-uate of Roosevelt High Schol. Mrs. Barbara McCarroll and 2 children, of Vernal, and Evelyn Eve-lyn Fausett were visitors of Mr.' and Mrs. William J. Fausett on Monday. Evelyn is staying with her sister, Barbara, in Vernal, caring for the children while Barbara works. Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Lemon returned re-turned home Saturday from a three weeks stay in Salt Lake, where Mr. Lemon has been under un-der a doctor's care. Taking advantage of the opening op-ening of fishing were John and Alden Percival, Orie Cook, and Lynn and Edgar Cook, of Bluebell; Blue-bell; EaVette and Eda Bee Percival. Per-cival. They went to the Remund Ranch on Strawberry, Friday night for a 3-day visit with Mr. and Mrs. Glen Remund and to try their luck for fish. Several couples from here attended at-tended the Roosevelt stake priesthood outing and Temple excursion in Salt Lake last Thursday. EXTENDS SYMPATHY We extend sympathy to Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Russon in the loss of their infant daughter last Thursday in the Roosevelt Hospital. Mrs. Russon is staying with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed Lemon, for a time. Visitors of Mrs. John Angus Saturday and Sunday were Mrs. James Cook, of Bluebell; Mrs. Dean Washburn, Mrs. Olive Sorenson, Mrs. Violet Gentry and Mrs. Thelma Cook of Bluebell. Blue-bell. Mr. and Mrs. Ira Winkler, of Salt Lake City, visited relatives in the Basin over the weekend. They visited with the Otto Lloyds' and James Lloyds Monday. Mon-day. Mr. and Mrs. James Zobell were Salt Lake City visitors Tuesday. Mrs. Edna Drollinger is making mak-ing an extended visit with relatives rel-atives in Salt Lake City and Ogden. Mrs. Barth Stone and son and her sister, Merna Morrill, of Salt Lake City, are visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Garrett Stone. Willard Day and son, Gerald, of Salt Lake City, were Saturday Satur-day visitors with Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd. Saturday night Willard Day held a reunion at the Frontier Grill with the boys that were Scouts when he was Scoutmaster Scoutmas-ter in Roosevelt 20 years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Marion Harrison, Harri-son, of Roosevelt, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Otto Lloyd, Sunday. Sun-day. Mrs. Milo Cajnpbell and children chil-dren went to Kingston to attend at-tend the golden wedding of her mother and father, Mr. and Allen. They plan to spend a I day in the Temple. |
