Merrell, county clerk, were present at the meeting. Moved by Floyd Case and seconded by Floyd Lamb that the agricultural agent and the ' home demonstration agent keep their offices in Roosevelt. Commissioner Case stated the commission could aid in the housing problem for the Extension Ex-tension Service agents in Roosevelt. Roos-evelt. Motion carried. . Commissioner Mickleson, who had talked at some length urging urg-ing the transfer of the offices to Duchesne, stated that he would make the decision unanimous. unan-imous. Mr. Jacoby asked as a citizen and tax payer that the county commissioners stop spending tax money for rental of office space in Roosevelt when housing was available for these agencies in the new courthouse court-house building. Director Frischknecht stated that this present decision was not necessarily a hard and fast contract; but to be fair to the Extension Service agents, the office should not be shifted back and forth. |
