Show Selective Service Lists 3 For Hext Induction Three Duchesne county men will report for induction into the armed forces on Sept. 3. They are Lyle K. Mecham, of Springville, formerly of Duchesne; Du-chesne; Kenneth R. Kofford, Utahn; Larry A. Bristol, Bluebell. Blue-bell. EIRay P, Duncan, pf Neola, who was tq have been inducted n the September call, was granted grant-ed a 60-day postponement by the local board. 73 In Class I-A The local board lists 73 boys in the 1-A classification who have not received their pre-in-duction physical examination. Most of these men were born in 1931 and 1932, but occasionally an older boy will fall back in line from another classification, states Patience Larsen, draft board clerk. Board Meets 3rd Tuesday Regular monthly meeting for the new selective service board has been set for the third Tuesday Tues-day each month at 2 p. m. Anyone wishing to take up problems prob-lems with the board may do so at this time. Office hours for the local board, whose office is on the second floor at the county court house, is as follows; From 9 a. m. to 5 p. m on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of each week, and from 9 a. m. 'till 1 p. m. on Thursday. The office is closed the remainder of the week. |
