Show tltflTH THE Grant Mace, Uintah Basin Boy Scout executive has announced that he plans to attend the National Na-tional Training Conference at East Lansing, Michigan, Sept. 5-12. 5-12. All five members of the Utah National Parks Council executive execu-tive staff will be among those to attend the conference. The I Scouters will assemble from 8U parts of the United States, Hawaii Ha-waii and Alaska, Elder Ezra Taft Benson of the Council of the Twelve will be one of the four speakers at the Sunday service to be held in connection with the Training Council of Scout executives. Elder El-der Benson, who is a member of the executive board of the National Na-tional Council, will represent the L.D.S. Church at the services, ser-vices, The other three speakers will represent the Protestants, Jews and Catholics. Monday night, August 27, a nominating committee headed by Alvin Weeks, met for the purpose pur-pose of nominating members for the Uintah District committee for the coming year. This is an annual procedure which is carried car-ried out in every district. The new members of the committee will be installed at the next egular meeting of the district committee. The names will be announced later. |
