Show This Week's RECIPE . . . Fresh peaches are now on the market, and the following peach sherbert is Inexpensive to make, but is a most refreshing dessert-It dessert-It was submitted by Mrs. R. V. Larson, Peach Shtvrbozi 3 ripe peaches 1 cup water 1 cup sugar V4 tsp. almond extract Juice of 1 or 2 lemons (depending (depend-ing on size). Make a syrup of sugar and water. Boil 1 minute. Chill in refrigerator tray. Mash peaches with fork and add to chilled syrup. syr-up. Add lemon juice, almond flavoring and freeze. Stir when partly frozen. Serves 6. |
