Lions Club Holds Initiation Party Edwin L. Peterson and Claren W. Zumwalt were initiuted into the Cedar City Lions Club at a stag party at the Escalante Hotel Monday evening. even-ing. Following a buffet luncheon, a program was held which featured a talk, under "very trying circumstances," circums-tances," given by Mr. Zumwalt and a vocal solo given by Mr. Peterson. In addition to a few games and many stories, the members present were entertained by a group of high school girls who gave one of the numbers from their coming dance review, and also by a comedy dance which was billed as a B.A.C. co-ed dance, but which was done by a group of high school boys. Piatt M. Bethers acted as master of ceremonies, and Dr. Frank Hawkes conducted the initiation ceremonies.
