Delegate Hailey on the Mormons John Halley Idahos Delegate in Congress Con-gress in an interview with a Wood River Times reporter the other day said he had done what he could to have Chief Justice Morgan removod but that that gentlemans course against the Mormon polygamists and bigamists had nothing whatever to do with his removal Said he Mr Hayes was appointed to succeed Judge Morgan simply because no lawyer in Idaho offered himself for the place I believe that he will enforce the laws and that he will make a good fudge Continuing Mr Ilailey said While in Washington I said to AttorneyGeneral Garland I want to see the laws against polygamy and bigamy rigidly enforced a a strict obedience to the laws is paramount para-mount to everything else The Mormon talk of polygamy being a part of their religious re-ligious belief is nothing but hypocrisy I my opinion the worship of the true God does not consist in any such immoral im-moral practices as having two or more wives at the same time I
