The Bathing in the Jordan The Jordan river has become quite a bathing resort for the small boys and young men of the dty and every evening even-ing dozens of them are seen bathing in that ptreani In spite of the warning given thin by the drowning of a young man and boy in the vicinity of where they bathe they siicm to court the danger dan-ger and nothing that can be said t them will make them desist Parents should inquire where their boys go to bathe and i i possible keep them awn from the treacherous Jordan I is well known that there is an undercurrent in the river that will draw a poor swimmer under and from which there is scarcely any chance to escape owing t the great deoth of the stream In dragging for the body of the young man that was drowned the depth was so great that the bottom of the river could not be reached Parents boys and young men take warning or more by reckless food for bathers the fishes will be furnished I I I
