Show Indian Horse Thieves Fixed BILLINGS Mont August ltEd Gould ing with two associate cattlemen on the Musselshell yesterday met a marauding hand of Piegans between Rasou and Half breed creeks The Piegansnnmbered twenty twen-ty accompanied by seventyfive stolen horses Goulding and party fired killing one Indian but greatly outnumbered were compelled to retreat for reinforcements which they obtained and overtaking the Piegans killed the entire party recovered the stolen stock What effect this battle may have on the neighboring bands is unknown un-known but no trouble is anticipated |
