Show Cub Midgets Walk Away With Honors The South high 'C team being the only undefeated team at South high placed six gridders on the Midget "All-City." Bob Dell of South and Jimmy Knell of East are "All-City" ends. Both boys are excellent pass . snaggers and good defensive defen-sive linemen. The honor tackles posts are held down by Stan Fivas of South and Spencer Budd of East. Here are two of the hardest driving- tackles in the Midget race. Guards are Bill Dubbeld of South and George Jouflas of East. They both have a good reputation for holding up the center of the , line. Dubbeld is also selected as honorary captain cap-tain for his leading the Cubs through and undefeated season. The pivot choice is Paul Ryan of West. He is an excellent center cen-ter and has been the mainstay for the Panther eleven. In the backfield, South smuth-ered smuth-ered all choices. Owen Wright hard driving fullback gets the nod while, Walter Gehrke of ' South takes over the quarter- back post. The Halfbacks are Bob Sidwell of South and Kenny Torp of East. Both boys are the best ball toaters in the midget league. The 'C team "All-City" was reasonable hard to select this year because of the hot race East and South have displayed this season. Honorable mention goes to Bob Hughes, Kay Greer in the back-field back-field for South. West high deserves de-serves mention because of the excellent sportsmanshop the exhibited. ex-hibited.
