Show Annual art auction The annual benefit art auction to raise funds for the Bountiful-Davis Bountiful-Davis Art Center is scheduled for Friday, April 29 at Oakridge Country Club. The annual gala event will begin at 6 p.m. with a social hour during which guests may peruse the items for sale and mingle socially. Dinner, featuring an entree of breast of chicken Eugene, will be served at 6:45 p.m. and the live auction will begin at 8 p.m. Reservations are required and must be made prior to April 27, ! by contacting the BDAC at 2175 S. Main, Bountiful, 292-0367. j Among prominent contemporary artists who have donated work for sale are Paul Davis, Karen Christensen, Lynn Coz- ) zens, E.J. (Bill) Bird, Norma Forsberg and many others. j Works by early Utah artists Jack Sears, Rose Howard Salis- i bury, and Lee Greene Richards will be offered, along with I antique items and special entertainment packages. i Popular Kaysville artist, LeConte Stewart, will also be repre- 3 sented in the sales. i Proceeds from this event will go to support the exhibition ! program and operating costs of the Bountiful-Davis Art center, ; which is the only public non-profit arts center in Davis County. |
