Show Not Publicity Stunt, Publicity Man Insists KANSAS CITY, MO. Hurt feelings, feel-ings, arising from persistent razzing razz-ing of his friends, represented the most severe injury incurred by Richard S. Haggman. publicity director di-rector of the Kansas City chamber of commerce, when he walked through the glass panel of his office door. A piece of falling glass, which barely nicked his right hand, was the only other injury. Haggman denied emphatically that the vht:lc thing was a publicity stunt, explaining that he never closes the door and that he turned into his office without noticing that the wind had blown the door shut. An office clerk, who was in Hagg-man's Hagg-man's office cleaning up broken glass from another office door which had blown shut a few minutes before, be-fore, shattering the glass, shook his head resignedly when the second pane crashed, and started cleaning up the mess. |
