Show MOUNTAIN VIEW WARD PLANNING GALA CARNIVAL Two full nights of carnival fun, complete with games, booths, entertainment and refreshments re-freshments are in the offing for members of the Mountain View ward and the general public next week end. The ward's "Wheatfield Carnival" Car-nival" will open at 7 p.m., Friday, Fri-day, Sept. 13, for a two-night stand in the big open lot at 17th E. and between Westminster and Garfield avenues, the ground where the new chapel ground where the new chapel . will be built. Proceeds from this entertainment will go to the ! building fund. Present . plans ' call for beginning of construction construc-tion of the chapel next, spring if, building materials are available avail-able by then. 'Seldon L. There will be colorful midway, gaily lighted, and offering of-fering all sorts of carnival entertainment en-tertainment games, contests, rides, fortune telling and a wide vSi-letyof- -activities calculated to furnish a full evening's entertainment enter-tainment for persons of every age and inclination. Moutain View ward was created cre-ated about three years ago from a division of Edgehill and Par-! Par-! leys wards, and has since been I divided by the creation of Lau-relcrest Lau-relcrest ward. |
