Officer Barrett Arrests 3 on Car Theft Charge A nice bit of sleuthing was turned in early Tuesday morning morn-ing by Sugar House Policeman L. C. Barrett as he brought three youthful law-breakers into custody. cus-tody. At 2:20 a.m. in the business district, Officer Barrett noted three young men parked in a Ford station wagon with Arizona license plates. Upon questioning Officer Barrett became suspicious suspic-ious of the trio and took them to headquarters. There it was learned that the leader, Johnny Clarence Parker, 19, of Abilene, Texas, had stolen the car from a dealer in Texas. From Phoenix he had traveled to Los Angeles, Las Vegas and on to Salt Lake, picking up two companions along the way. In Salt Lake, ; they ad stolen a wheel, tire and I tube from a parked car.
