Show C. C. Pendleton Leaves Soon For Mission Calvin C. Pendleton will leave soon for the LDS Central States Mission. He will be honored at a farewell testimonial at Sugar House Ward chapel on Sunday evening, Jan. 11. For the opening number on his program he has asked the choir and congregation to sing "The Spririt of God Like a Fire Is Burning." Keneth C. Pendleton Pendle-ton will give the opening prayer. Violin music will be presented by Lucile an Orin Salisbury, and Raymond R. McFarlane wfll sing a tenor solo "Not What I Will." Remarks will be given by H. LeRoy Frisby and Gerald Smith, Virginia Pendleton will sing "Because," folowed by a talk by Fred W. Schwendiman. Bishop Edward C. Rawson will make a few remarks followed by a response re-sponse from the missionary. The choir will sing "God Be With You Till We Meet Again" and Allen F. Pendleton will give the closing prayer. Mrs. Calvin C. Pendleton honored hon-ored her husband with a dinner party last Saturday night. Sixteen' Six-teen' friends of the Pendletons were invited to enjoy a lovely dinner and an evening of games. Son Kenneth C. Pendleton and wife, Virginia, will be out of town guests at their father's farewell. They are coming down from Twin Falls, Ida., for the occasion. |
