Show .Society DOING THE TOWN By Elaine A. Cannon The winter social season is unusually gay this new year with post-war travelers making things all the more exciting. A Skating Follies drew many a southeasterner to the Coliseum over the week end. Tom and Blanche Valle and young Tommy left baby sister with grandma while they enjoyed the extravaganza. extravagan-za. David S. King and Rosalie Lehner who are keeping rather steady company these days invited Aldon and Ginny Anderson to go along with them. Bourney omney and his wife, the lovely Janice McCune Romney, had reserved seats. Janice chose to wear a smart toast-colored suit in the new longer length. A wonderful lamb dinner prepared with special care by the hostess was given in honor of Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence W. Weiler recently. The get together was staged by Ken and Kathleen Reese at their home, 1890 S. 11th ast. Larry and his wife, the former Mary Recore, were guests of her mother, Mrs. Irene Recore, 1045 4th East Street during their holiday stay in Salt Lake. Seventeen-month-old son Jeffrey was the object of plenty of attention atten-tion from grandma and he found two very special new friends at the Reese home when little Randy and Sylvia Reese shared .-- their Christmas toys with the young blond traveler.
