Show Furniture Men Attend Chicago Style Market i I Several prominent Sugar . House furniture officials are now in Chicago attending The ! Inernational Home Furnishings ; Market, which is being conduct-' conduct-' ed from Jan. 5 to 17, inclusive. ! Granite Furniture Co. has sent three representatives to inspect the new lines being displayed at The Merchandise Mart and at other display centers. They are: Willard B. Richards, Jr., man-: man-: ager, Henry Richard, sales manager man-ager and Elmer Jensen of the drapery department. ; Ray E. Nilson, owner and ; manager of the furniture com- pany carrying his name, is including in-cluding both Chicago and Battle Bat-tle Creek, Mich., in his itinerary. From the South East Furniture Furni-ture Co. have gone both J. Gordon Gor-don and S. Calvin Sorensen to see what the new trends and styles are. They have reported report-ed that furniture prices are up 5 to 10 per cent at the markets, and that many good lines are back on quota. As a follow-up, the South East Furniture Co. has appointed S. Morgan Sorensen Sor-ensen to visit the San Francisco Furniture Show in February. Horace A. Sorensen will visit several factories before spring. Richard W. Madsen.
