Show Out East Mill Creek Way Holidays Find East Mill Creekers Cupid-Minded Santa Claus was certainly playing Dan Cupid this Yuletide season for the diamonds have been flying thick and fast. Both receivers and givers are residents resi-dents of East Mill Creek. First of all we find a lovely diamond on that all-important finger of Miss Elaine Rawlings, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. Calvin Raw-lings. Raw-lings. The lucky boy in this match is Morris Johnson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Johnson. Another An-other sparkler is being displayed display-ed by Miss Sophie Hof man, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John B. Hofman. This ring was bestowed be-stowed by Steve Burdette, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Burdette. Miss Barbara Robinson, daughter daugh-ter of Mr. and Mrs. D. H. Robinson, Rob-inson, is going around with stars in her eyes since she received her diamond from Frank Walker, Walk-er, son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Walker. Miss Ruby Glade and Bob Myers are doing a little star gazing since their engagement on Christmas. Ruby is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. V. Glade, and Bob's parents are the I Owen Myers. Miss Lila Mae j Walker is now wearing a beautiful beau-tiful diamond from Bill Barker. Mr. and Mrs. Harold Walker and Mr. and Mrs. William Barker are the parents of this couple. May we offer our congratulation congratula-tion to all these newly engaged couples. BABY NEWS Seott Michael Erickson made his deput Christmas morning at the Holy Cross Hospital. He had the honor of being the first baby born on Christmas. Father Fa-ther and mother, Bishop and Mrs. H. Leroy Erickson are doing do-ing very well. Another Christmas day baby was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Don Sudbury from Evergreen Ward. Mrs. Sudbury is the former Beverly Bev-erly Cowley. A babv girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Boyd H. Bronson on the morining of Dec. 23. Mrs. Bronson is the former Marjorle Wallin, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. O. Wallin of Grandview Ward. |
