Show e ZUA NEFF NOW SECOND LIEUTENANT Recently completing her intensive inten-sive training in the Officers' Candidate Can-didate school at Camp Lejeune, New River, North Carolina, Zua Neff has been commissioned a Second Lieutenant in the Marine Corps Women's Reserve and assigned as-signed to duty at the Marine Air Station, Cherry Point, North Carolina. She is the daughter of Mr. Samuel Neff of 2564 Evergreen Ever-green Avenue, Salt Lake City. She was graduated from the Officers' training school during an impressive ceremony, at which the Honorable Frank Knox, Secretary Sec-retary of the Navy, was featured speaker. Others present were Lieutenant General Thomas Hol-comb, Hol-comb, commandant of the Marine Corps, and Lieutenant Colonel Ruth Cheney Streeter, director of the Marine Corps Women's Reserve. Re-serve. Second Lieutenant Neff has three brothers in the Arrav. They are: Lieutenant ytevtn Z. Keff, Private Grant B. Neff and Private Pri-vate Lawrence 3. Neff. Prior to entering the Marine Corps, the local woman was employed as an executive secretary in a New York office. She is a graduate of the University of Utah, where she received her B. A. degree. |
