Jones, Ninth Service Command Com-mand Headquarters, Fort Douglas, received his commission in the United States Marine Corps on November 17, after completing basic training at the Marine Corps School, Quantico, V rginia. He is now enrolled in reserve officers class for advanced training train-ing in principles of command. Upon completion of this course he will be eligible to join a combat com-bat unit, or attend a school for specialists. Lieutenant Jones was appointed appoint-ed an officer-candidate in September.
