Show BOWLING The bowling at the Southeast South-east has been as torrid as the weather during the last week. Gladys Temple who has been gradually recovering from an injury showed that she is back in form again by bowling two excellent series. Her first was a 660 bowled' on Thursday, and she proved that was no fluke by bowling 620 on Saturday. That same dav Earl Stonebraker and Mac nkiyed 5 games each for 2006 Earl's 1024 series including game of 278. These bowlers will be starting the new season in top form. The Husband and Wile O League completed its sched-lUnnrlnv sched-lUnnrlnv nicht. and the the teams expressed regret that the summer league is over. A good time has surely been had by all. There was no blaze of glory on the last night, nobodv having bowled a 600 series. The only team to win 4 points was the McGrcg-or-Dallin team, which :.uit them in third place, while Ward-Fellows won 3 to put them in second place. The Stevenson-Morlcy team retained re-tained first place in the league bv winning two points from the Garton-Sylvester-Davis team. |
