Later in the day Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Murray, of Myton, and Mrs. Verona Winkler, Bluebell, visited vis-ited the family. Mt. Emmons mothers were honored at a special program May 12, at Sunday School. Each mother received a small potted plant. Twenty-nine L D S seminary graduates received diplomas Sunday evening in services at the Mt. Emmons ward house. E. L. Murphy, former president of the Moon Lake Stake, was principal prin-cipal speaker. Other prograpi numbers were presented by sem inary students. Candidates for graduation were introduced by Instructor Ben C. Gomra and cnplomas were presented by Leon M. Burton, first counselor in the Stake presidency. Mr. and Mrs. Vose Mowers and children, of Twin Falls, Iaa., arrived Sunday night to attend at-tend funeral services for their nephew, Max Rogers, who was killed Friday night when the car he was driving went out of control overturning in the canal near the Chester Hartman home. The. Mowers were guests of Mr. and Mrs. George Rogers during their stay here. Mr. and Mrs. Leonard Wall and children motored to Salt Lake to spend Mother's Day with Mrs. Wall's parents, Mr. and Mrs. S. E. Atwood. They also visited their daughters, Mrs. Bob Deshler and Miss LaRae Wall. Mrs. Frank Monks, of Myton, visited Monday with her sister, Mrs. Chester Hartman. |
