Show Gusher Frances Semken Mr. and Mrs. Ira Blanchard and children, Spanish Fork, visited vis-ited Friday with their sister, Mrs. Manfred Arnold, and family. fam-ily. Mr. and Mrs. Cook and Marcel Mar-cel Gray, of Vernal, spent Sunday Sun-day with their brother Lawrence Roper, and family. Among the students graduated graduat-ed from the seminary at exercises exer-cises held at Roosevelt, May 7 were Marlene and Billie Arnold, Arn-old, Betty and Patricia Meyers, Eleanor Hackford and Lorin Arnold. Mr. and Mrs. Delias Jensen and daughter, Jean, spent a few days last week in Montwel with her daughter, Mrs. Wm. Blanchard, and family. A meeting was held Monday evening In the Gusher Union church to discuss the prospects of having a rural telephone line through this area. Mr. and Mrs. Kim Arnold and Mr. and Mrs. Joe Arnold visited Sunday in Jensen with Mrs. Wil-ma Wil-ma Gilroy, recently released from the hospital. A group of friends called last week on Mrs. Helen McFarland, who is still quite ill at the Vernal Ver-nal hospital. The following were elected as new officers of the Moffat Reservoir Res-ervoir and Pipe line, at a meeting meet-ing held Thursday night at the home of Mrs. Vonnie Dahlberg: Lorin Crapo, president; Mrs. Dahlberg, secretary - treasurer; and Alex Duvall and Albert Semken, directors. Mr. and Mrs. Ted Phillips visited their mother Sunday in Kremling, Colo. Mr. and Mrs. Harry Curry, of Salt Lake, spent the weekend here The small daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ruel Bodily, of Moses Lake, Washington, is seriously ill She is a granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Bodily, of Gusher. The Hardinger family, of Roosevelt, visited Wednesday with their sister, Mrs. George Arnold. |
