Show Trout Fishing Season Open June 17 -Oct. 8 The trout and grayling fishing season will open, throughout the state June 17 and last through Oct. 8, except in regulated areas. ar-eas. In Daggett county the fishing is July 1 -Oct. 8 on the Carter creek drainage from a point one mile above the Vernal-Manila road crossing to source and at the Sheep creek drainage from a point one mile above the Vernal-Manila road crossing to its source. Regulated areas in Duchesne county are Brown Duck lakes and tributary streams, Brown Duck creek and Lake Fork creek above Moon Lake, Rock creek drainage above Upper Still water, north fork of the Duchesne river above the confluence con-fluence of the stream with Mar-cell Mar-cell creek, west fork of Duchesne Du-chesne and Wolf creek above junctions of streams, Yellowstone Yellow-stone creek above the R.E.A. dam, and Uintah river above Davis U-Bar ranch in Uintah park, all open to fishing from July 1 to Oct. 8; Moon Lake, open June 17 to Oct. 8; and Lake Borham and Montez reservoir, res-ervoir, open May 1 to Nov. 15. In Uintah county the White-rocks White-rocks river drainage, including Paradise Park above the Mari-mon Mari-mon ranch upper fence, will be open July 1 to Oct. 8; dry fork of Ashley creek, north fork of dry fork of Ashley and east fork of dry fork of Ashley drainages drain-ages above their confluences, Brush creek drainage above the gorge, Little Brush creek drainage drain-age above Vernal-Manila highway high-way crossing, open July 1 to Oct. 8. : The size limit is a seven-inch minimum. Daily bag limit is seven pounds or 12 fish, whichever which-ever is caught first. |
