Anna fine NE NW NE; EV2 SE NE NW; EVz NW NW NE 11 40 Each unit is offered for separate sep-arate lease, for a cash bonus in addition to the stipulated royalties, royal-ties, and rental at $1.25 per acre per annum. The successful and responsible bidders for any lease will be required to pay in advance ad-vance an annual rental of $1.25 per acre, the cost of advertising, and a filing fee of $5.00 for each lease contract consummated. A deposit of 20 per cent of the bonus bid and 20 per cent of the advance rental for the first year must accompany the bid and be in the form of a certified cer-tified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank, payable to . the Treasurer of the United States. No individual, corporation, partnership, company, or association as-sociation shall hold under lease for oil andor gas mining purposes pur-poses Indian tribal lands and restricted re-stricted allotted Indian lands on any one Indian Reservation, in excess of 25,000 acres. Acreage Acre-age leased by an officer or director di-rector of a corporation, company, com-pany, or association, or by a stockholder holding 40 per cent or more of the stock of the corporation, cor-poration, company, or association associa-tion shall be charged against the corporation, company, or association as-sociation and vice versa. The acreage leased by a member of a partnership shall be charged against the partnership and vice versa. The acreage of corporations, corpora-tions, companies, or associations having common stockholders owning a majority of the stock of each corporation, company, or association, or having one or more common officers or directors direct-ors shall be charged against each other. Bids for a minimum of a single sin-gle unit, or for two or three or all of the units of the area, as advertised, will be entertained, and the successful bidder on such units will be required to take leases on the lands subject to the understanding that a separate sep-arate lease contract will be issued is-sued on each unit as listed, and all conditions of this advertisement advertise-ment shall apply to each separate sep-arate lease contract so made. The sale will be held and the leases executed in accordance with the Act of March 3, 1909, (35 Stat. 781, 783), the Act of May 11, 1938 (52 Stat, 347), and 25 C.F.R.. Part 189, as to allotted al-lotted lands. Lease Form'5-154h will be used for the allotted land lease contracts. Failure of the successful bidder bid-der to comply with the terms of the sale and the regulations, will render his deposit liable to forfeiture in the discretion of the Commissioner of Indian Affairs. Af-fairs. Leases filed after 20 days from date of mailing to lessee for execution will be subject to revaluation of bonus, if permission permis-sion is not granted for an extension ex-tension of time. Sales will be cancelled and deposits forfeited at the expiration of the 20-day filing period unless for good and sufficient reason, an extension of the filing period is granted. The right is reserved by the Commissioner of Indian Affairs to reject any or all bids and to disapprove any lease made on an accepted bid. Should any bid be rejected after a deposit is made, through no fault of the bidder, all monies deposited shall be returned. The lessee must furnish a satisfactory sat-isfactory surety bond as required by the regulations. Bids received will be referred to the respective owners o f each allotment for acceptance before further action is taken by this' Office. Only as such bids are approved by such owners, own-ers, can a lease be drawn. All bids must be marked on the outside of the envelope, "Bid on Oil and Gas Lease, Allotted Al-lotted Indian lands, not to be opened until 2:00 o'clock P. M., June 1, 1950." FORREST R.
