Show Wkiteocks Verna Hoopes Mr. and Mrs. Dale Drum-mond Drum-mond and three daughters, of Salt Lake City, have come to visit Mrs. Drummond's mother, Mrs. Cuzzie VanArsdale. Mrs. Drummond and daughters will remain here for a two-week visit vis-it while Mr. Drummond goes to Fort Lewis, Washington fo some military training. Mr. and Mrs. Levi Reed and four children, Junior. Derel, Clifford and Freda, came to: vis'.t Mr. and Mrs. J. O. Hoopes and family. They attended the Vernal Vern-al Rodeo while here. The following follow-ing Sunday the Hoopes family went up arm Creek Mountain for a picnic. Mr. and Mrs. Leland Moosman and Mr. and Mrs. Eldon Ander-ton Ander-ton made a business trip to Salt Lake last weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Bob Burton, of Ogden, and son, visited with Mr. and Mrs. Elbert Smith on Sunday. Sun-day. Mr. and Mrs. Kay Jensen, of Bremmerton, Washington, and Mr. and Mrs. George Nyberg, of Lapoint, visited Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Hoopes on Thursday. Mr. Jensen is a former Lapoint resident. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Mari-mon, Mari-mon, Nancy and Bob made a business trip, to Wyoming last weekend. Lt. and Mrs. Jay Murray and son arrived last week in' time to celebrate the Fourth with friends and relatives here. Lt. Murray has been stationed in West Virginia. He has a 42-day furlough and then expects to be .sent to Korea for his next assignment. as-signment. Pfc. Gail Rasmussen arrived from Camp Cooke, California, i Saturday evening. He came to get his wife and baby son to take them back there to live. He is still being treated at the hospital there. Mr. and Mrs. Ray Cuch and family have moved into their new ranch home on the ease bench. Mrs. Edna Evans and two children chil-dren visited with her mother, Mrs. Matilda Moosman, and with Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert El-lingford El-lingford on Sunday. Mr and Mrs. Bruce Watkins and Mrs. Errna Sessions visited Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Ellingford on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Brough attended at-tended the Snowball reunion in-Salt in-Salt Lake last week. Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Pickuo Mr. and Mrs. Grant Pickup, and Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Taylor visited vis-ited Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Brougn on July 4. Sherlene Harvey, of Tridell. spent the weekend with her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Bill Hoopes. Mrs. Helen Walkup visited relatives here on Sunday. Mr. and Mrs. Terry Goulding and Leonard Twitchell visited Mr. and Mrs. Twitchell on Saturday. Sat-urday. Mr. Goulding and Mr. Twitchell returned Saturday to Colorado, where they have employment. em-ployment. Mrs. Goulding will remain here for a while. Mr. and Mrs. Dick Plant and daughter, Linda, of Ogden, spent Saturday night of last week with Mrs. Plant's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Twitchell. |
