Show Sluekll Claud Allred Breaks Left Arm Claud Allred had the misfortune misfor-tune to break his left wrist last week. He was riding on a load of hay, when it tipped over causing him to fall directly under un-der the hay on his arm. He was taken to Roosevelt for medical care. Stitches were taken where the bone had broken through :the skin. Mrs. Lila Gale and Elwayne .Gale, of Tod Park, spent a few days here with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Elvin Jensen and family, of Elmo, and M-. and Mrs. LaVar Stansfield and family, of Price, spent the weekend here visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Bird. Mr. and Mrs. Allan Cook and five children, and Wiley Cook, of Salt Lake City, and Tommy Woodruff, who is serving in the U. S. Army, spent the weekend holidays here with Mr. and Mrs. James Cook. Miss Judith Bird and her friend, Miss Twila Mae Brun-dage. Brun-dage. of Price, spent Saturday and Sunday with Judith's parents, par-ents, Mr. and Mrs. Isaac Bird. Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Winkler Wink-ler and family left Friday for a pleasure trip to Salt Lake. They returned home Sunday. Mrs. Mavis Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Jennings went to Roosevelt Tuesday to join with other members of the Mirl Jennings Sr. family for a get-together get-together the first time in nine years. Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Johnson, who have been employed by an oil company at Powell, Wyo., spent the past week here visiting visit-ing Mr. and Mrs. John Goodrich. |
