Show Notice Of Oil & Gas Mining Lease Sale UNDER SEALED BID, 2:00 P. M., JULY 25. 1952 Sealed bids will be received at the Uintah and Ouray Agency, Ag-ency, Fort Duchesne. Utah, until 2:00 P. M., July 25, 1952, for Oil and Gas mining leases on the following described Indian lands owned by the Ute Tribe, located on the Uintah and Ouray Indian Reservation, in Duchesne County, State of Utah, all of which lands as hereafter described are within the Uintah Special Spe-cial Base and Meridian Survey, and contain 8,309.99 acres, more or less, to-wit: TRIBAL Unit No. Sec. NVfc 21, NV4; SEi4 22 All , 23 All . 24 NVS 25 26 2,720.00 Each unit is offered for separate sep-arate lease, for a cash bonus in addition to the stipulated royalties royal-ties and rental of $1.25 per acre per annum. The successful and responsible bidders for any lease wil be required to pay in advance ad-vance an annual rental of $1.25 per acre, the cost of advertising and a filing fee of $5.00 for each lease contract consummated. In addition to the filing fee of $5 for each lease contract. . an additional ad-ditional fee of 15c per acre will be charged as a processing cost of making the lease and clerical cler-ical service attendant thereto. Successful bidders will be required re-quired to deposit such fees in proportion to the acreages obtained ob-tained on their bids before leases leas-es are drawn. A deposit of 20 per cent of the bonus bid and 20 per cent of the advance rental rent-al for the first year must accompany ac-company the bid and be in the form of a certified check or bank draft drawn on a solvent bank, payable to .the Treasurer of the United States. Conditional or alternate bids will not be accepted and no drilling propositions will be considered con-sidered as a part of the bonus offer. The sale will be held and the executed in accordance with the Act of May 11, 1938 (52 Stat' 347) and Title 25, C.F.R., Part 186, as amended or supplemented. supplement-ed. Lease form 5-157 will be used. , Failure of the successful bidder bid-der to comply with the terms of sale and the regulations, will render his deposit liable to' forfeiture for-feiture in the discretion of the Commissioner of Indian Affairs. Leases filed after 20 days from date of mailing to lessee for execution ex-ecution will be subject to revaluation re-valuation of bonus, if permission permis-sion is not granted for an extension ex-tension of time.
