Show Measles Plague Altonah Area Measles are still making the rounds in Altonah, with several new cases reported during th. week. Mrs. Hardy Perkins and Mrs. Mary Carroll spent several days visiting in Salt Lake City during dur-ing the week. Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Cole, of Carbon County arrived Sunday night to visit Mr. and Mrs. Ed Olsen for a few days. Howard Fowler has purchased the house from Delbert Shiner where the post office was and is doing some remodeling before be-fore he moves in. Mrs. Dallas Ames and son, Leo, spent a week in Salt Lake visitine their daughter and sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Jack Wirthlin, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Niel Maxfield and son, of Price, visited with Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Maxfield and other relatives during the week. Mr. and Mrs. Randel Wardle and family, of Tod Park, spent the July 4 weekend with Mrs Wardle's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Shiner, and family. Mr. and Mrs. Junior Potts and daughters, of Logan, spent tV July 4 weekend with Mrs. Potts' mother, Mrs. Elva Snyder. Many from Altonah celebrated celebrat-ed July 4 at the Altamont Rodeo Ro-deo Grounds, with many taking part in the program, parade and sports events. Mrs. Mary Carroll was in the Roosevelt Hospital Wednesday Wednes-day night, after having had her teeth extracted. She was able to come home Thursday. Mrs Blaine Corbin and new son came home from the Roosevelt Roose-velt Hosnital the latter part of last week. |
