Show Viola Jensen Seagull Class Graduates From Ward Primary The Primary held its Seagull graduation Sunday evening. The following program was presented under the direction of Mrs. Donna Pickup, the Home Builder adviser: The Home Builder song', by the graduating group; prayer, Melissa Anderson; Ander-son; greetings, Mrs. Donna Pickup; Pick-up; The True Story song, graduates; grad-uates; poem, Melissa Anderson; talk, Elaine Chandler; group reading, "The Builder;" talk, Loy Harris, talk, Mrs. Anderson, Ander-son, the Seagull Primary mother. moth-er. The Seagull teacher presented the girls to the Home Builder adviser, who gave certificates to the girls, then presented them to the Y.W.M.I.A. president, Mrs. Jessie Pickup, who welcomed the girls. into the Mutual. Bishop Jarman made a few well chosen remarks. Closing son, "Serving Gladly," was sung by the girls. Lay Harris pronounced pro-nounced the benediction. Mrs. Eugenia Pickup played the piano accompaniment for all numbers. Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen, Mr. and Mrs. William Chandler, Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Jensen, and Mrs. Ivan Rogers attended funeral fun-eral services for John Wardle at the Glines ward chapel on May 3. Harold Dudley, Austin Wardle and Willard Wall were in Roosevelt Roos-evelt Wednesday on business. Mrs. Sadie Peay and son, Byron, were in Salt Lake City the first part of the week to consult a specialist about Byron. Mr. and Mrs. C, R. Wilson came from Idaho Monday to see about disposing of their property proper-ty here. Mr. and Mrs. Richard Jensen visited Thursday evening at the home of Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Jensen. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Lawrence, Law-rence, of California, who have been visiting here for some time, returned home Friday. Mr. and Mrs. Wilford Wall visited over the week-end with Mr. Wall's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Wall. Sunday they all visited with Mr. and Mrs. Dan Adams at Dry Fork. Mr. Adams Is Mrs. Henry Wall's father. fa-ther. Harold Dudley went to Provo Saturday. Bishop and Mrs. Franklin Jarman went to Salt Lake City to attend the temple excursion. |
