The Hershey Chocolate pie makes a delightful party dessert, des-sert, and, of course, would be enjoyed as a special treat for the family. Hershey Chocolate Pie One 20c Hershey almond . bar One 5c Hershey almond bar: Chop bars on bread board. Melt in top of double boiler. When melted add 3 tablespoons cold water or coffee. Stir well and cool. Add 1 teaspoon vanilla and fold in one cup cream whipped. - ' j Pour into meringue pie shell MeringuQ Pie Shell ;." 2 eg'g whites Pinch of salt. Beat until foamy. Add 18 tea-" spoon cream tartar and continue beating until soft peaks are formed. Gradually add, while beating, Vz cup sugar Vz teaspoon vanilla Pour into 8 inch greased pie tin and bake 55 minutes at 300 degrees. Let cool before adding Hershey chocolate pic filling. Pie may be kept over night in refrigerator if desired. |
