Show 1st And 2nd Grades The children from the Harriman Harri-man school. Salt Lake City, visited vis-ited our room last Friday. Winifred Win-ifred Pinnecoose showed them around our room. Nancy Grant thanked them for the many nice things the children of that school have done for us. We were happy to have them. They stayed all night.- All the children chil-dren had a good time playing together. We went for a walk Thursday afternoon and found some wild flowers and saw some birds. We also saw some insects and talked about them. Flowers were brought back to our school room. There are 38 in our room. We have had good attendance this year. Last week our teacher gave the 2nd . grade reading tests. We all passed. Nancy Grant wants to- send you this letter: "We planted some flowers and when they grow, they will be pretty and I will be so happy. This morning we said our prayers. pray-ers. We make posters and say our numbers from 1 to 100. We are very quiet. We have weekly reader. Mother's Day almost here. I will buy my mother some chocolate candy. I think I can make her happy." Rev. Robert Nicholas, from Dragerton, celebrated Hass at St. Elizabeth's church last Sunday Sun-day at 11 a. m. Wilson Smith and son, Bert, accompanied him. After services they were dinner din-ner guests of Capt. and Mrs. William G. Avery. |
