Show littts Alvin J. Duley IN OUR SCHOOL Beginners Give Program Of Indian Lore The Beginners presented a Ute program of Indian lore, in costume, to the students from the Harriman school. Our young visitors were guests of the Uintah Uin-tah Indian school on April 27-28. They were accompanied by Miss Alta Miller, elementary supervisor super-visor of the Jordan school district; dis-trict; Mr. Nosack, principal of the Harriman school, and by some parents of the students. Mrs. Henry Wopsock's children gave a fine performance, demonstrating dem-onstrating their abilities for Indian, In-dian, folk, square and ball-room dancing. The older boys in our room have prepared flower plots, after af-ter removing a half truck-load of rocks. They are making a pansy bed. George Sireech and Wendell Navenich dug the flower flow-er bed west of our school room. They planted marigolds. We had daffodils for our May baskets this year. We planted the bulbs last spring. May 11 we will give a program. |
