Show Stella Underwood Vacation Bible Classes End With Picnic The Vacation Bible school, held at the Gusher Baptist mission mis-sion August 20 through August 24, closed August 24 with a picnic dinner for the children. The classes, directed by Rev William Trow, pastor of the Roosevelt Baptist church, showed an average attendance of 1 25 each day. Mr. and Mrs. Alex Duvall an-jnounce an-jnounce the arrival of a new grandchild, a daughter born on August 19 to their son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Duvall, of Pleasant Grove. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Winward. of Myton, were week end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Ross. Joe Arnold, son of Mr. and Mrs. George Arnold, took seriously ser-iously ill Saturday of last week and was rushed to Salt Lake by his uncle, George Hardinger, of Roosevelt. Mrs. Gladys N e b e k e r. of Provo; Mr. and Mrs. Bert Ami-cone, Ami-cone, of Salt Lake City; Mr. and Mrs. A. C. Tolboe, of Myton, were all week end visitors at the Albert Semken home. Mr. and Mrs. Bill Mellon and children, of Salt Lake, spent last week visiting their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Wallace McCarroll. Other visitors at the McCarrell home were their daughter and son-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Atwood, and children, of Vernal. |
