Show DUP Honors Captain On Her Anniversary Mrs. Mae Sprouse, captain of the Eleanor Caldwell Camp, Daughters of Utah Pioneers, was honored with a surprise party at the home of Mrs. Alice An-ges An-ges on her birthday August lb. Twenty-four D. U. P. members attended. A very delightful afternoon was enjoyed, with a beautiful cake aglow with 67 candles was the ' highlight of the occasion. Mrs. Sprouse received 26 beautiful beau-tiful handkerchiefs, most of them hand made. Miss LaVor Sprouse, of Du- j chesne, visited her grandmother, Mrs. Mae Sprouse last week. Mrs. Srouse went home with her to spend the week end. Lawrence Rich, of San Diego, California, is visiting with his wife, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Rich, of Nine Mile, and his sister and brother-in-law, Mr. j and Mrs. Dean Huber. Mr. Rich , is on leave from the navy. I Reed Anges and his fiancee, of Blyth, California, are visiting his mother, Mrs. Alice Anges, and with Mr. and Mrs. . Floyd Anges. Marion RoosEs and children, Frances and Gale, of Chicago City, Minn., have returned to their home after spending a two-week two-week vacation with Mr. and Mrs. Hayden Foster and friends. Emma Swenson, of Salt Lake City, is visiting1 Mrs. Helen Pille-bury Pille-bury and Mr. and Mrs. Johnny I Lambert. |
