Show Altonali Mrs. Ethel Beebe Boyd Young, of Lapoint, visited vis-ited a few days last week with his uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rochel. Delbert Shiner returned Sunday Sun-day from Salt Lake City and a visit with his daughter, Mrs. Jean Fisher, who, although still very ill, is now somewhat improved. im-proved. Mr. and Mrs. .Dick Smith, of Salt Lake City, visited last weekend with Mr. and Mrs. Ty Kolb. Mrs. Smith is Mrs. Kolb's sister. Mr. and Mrs. Robert Snyder and family and Albert Snyder, of Springville, spent a few days last week with their mother, Mrs. Elva Snyder. Mr. and Mrs. Grant Hanson, of Mt. Emmons, were Altonah business visitors Monday. Art Mohlman, of Salt Lake City, visited his parents, Mr. and Mrs. E. M. Mohlman, and brother, Glen, several days last week. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Karren, of Bonanza, visited Mrs. Kar-ren's Kar-ren's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Jer-ry Clark, during the week. Mrs. Ida Woodard returned Tuesday from a trip to Provo. Her mother, Mrs. Ora Keele, came home with her for a visit. Mrs. Wm. Ralphs left Sunday to receive medical attention in j Salt Lake. The annual fish fry of the American Legion and Auxiliary was held July 8. An enjoyable time was had by Mr. and Mrs. Jesse A. Fowler, Mr. and Mrs. Aldon Carroll, Mr. and Mrs, Blaine Corbin, Mr. and Mrs. Levear Timothy, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond McMillian, Mr. and Mrs. Albert Rochel, Mr. and Mrs. Dick Jessen, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Clark, Mrs. Lola Jones, Harold Birch, Henry Wathen, and Clyde Lambert. Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Gygi, Mr. and Mrs. Dee Burrows, and Mr. and Mrs. Berton Saris, of Salt Lake City, were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. C. Morris, Mr. and Mrs. W. E. Clark, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Ralphs and George Mecham. Chris Kavas made a trip Thursday to Salt Lake City to visit his brother-in-law, James Leonakis, who is ill at the St. Mark's hospital. Bishop and Mrs. Lester Max-field Max-field went to Provo Tuesday to get their son, Perry, who was returning from the Boy Scout Jamboree. Mrs. Dick Clark and daughters daugh-ters were in Salt Lake the first of the week. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Smith left Wednesday for M a n t i, where they will receive their temple endowments. Their son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Willard Snyder, of China Lake, Calif., and their daughter, Barbara, accompanied them. Mr. and Mrs. Dee Clark and family, of Meeker, visited during dur-ing the week with Mr. Clark's brother, William, and sister, Mrs. Harold Morris and family, I and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Sny- i der and family, of Omaha, Neb., arrived Saturday to visit Mr. Snyder's mother, Mrs. Elva Snyder, Sny-der, and other relatives. Mr. and Mrs. Willard Snyder and son have returned to their home in China Lake, Calif., after a visit with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Elva Snyder, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Smith. Their daughter, Luzon, stayed to spend the summer with her grandparents, while Barbara Smith accompanied the Snyders to California. . Lynn Burgess, of Price, is visiting relatives here. |
