Show TMDELL Mrs. Lorna McKee Farewell Party Alice Glines and Murell Goodrich Good-rich were hostess and host to a party and dance held Saturday night after the ward show, for Max Warren, who is going into the armed forces. The program consisted of the following numbers: num-bers: song, Mignon Harvey and Charles Glines; song, Clark Oar-um; Oar-um; piano solo, Marta Morrill; song. Mr. and Mrs. Reed McKee; talk, Bishop Goodrich; song, Fay Durfee; and talk, Max Warren. Refreshments were served and an enjoyable time was had by all. ENTERS ARMY Max Warren left Monday for Salt Lake City, where he will be inducted into the armed forces. The Winfred Greys and their two children from Lehi, visited friends and relatives in Tridell over the weekend. v Mr. and Mrs. Forrest Goodrich, Mr. and Mrs. Parley Goodrich and Darrell Goodrich went to American Ameri-can Fork Monday to attend the funeral of Bessie Hunting. Mr. and Mrs. Morgan Glines and baby daughter were visitors dur-1 ing the week at the home of the j Charles Glines family. ; Speakers at Sacrament meeting Sunday evening were Joan Ross, I Ronnie McKee, Polly McConkie, ; Max Warren, Creig Ross, Marta ' Morrill and Ethel Goodrich. j Mr. and Mrs. DeVon McKee ' are rejoicing over the arrival of a baby daughter, born January 17th at the Uintah Basin Hospital. George Harvey, from Salt Lake City, visited friends and relatives over the weekend. SILVER GLEANER COMRADERY Joan Ross was hostess to a Silver Gleaner Comradery, held at her home Tuesday night. A number of young people from Tridell went to Lapoint Monday evening to practice with a group from there for a floor show number num-ber to be presented at Union High Wednesday night at the basketball game. Rae and Owen Goodrich made two trips to Salt Lake during the week for building supplies for our new ward building. Mr. and Mrs. Jim Montgomery and children visited Friday and Saturday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Goodrich. Laren Ross attended a meeting of the school board Saturday night in Vernal. Mrs. Russell Gingell and son and Mrs. Keith Winterton visited at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Reed McConkie, Monday. Mr. and Mrs. Norman Kitchen, of Mapleton, Utah, visited at the homes of Mr. and Mrs. Owen Goodrich and Mr. and Mrs. Glines over the weekend. , Veldon Bertman, of Salt Lake City, visited friends in Tridell over ov-er the weekend. Mr. and Mrs. Jay Wight and their two children, Rae Lou and Edwin, from Paul, Idaho, have been visiting for the past two weeks at the home of John T. Wilson. Their son, Edwin, has been ill for the past week and has been confined to the Roosevelt Roose-velt Hospital. Mrs. Duane McKee visited at home over the weekend, returning to Salt Lake Monday. Mrs. Myrtle Berkenpass and two children, Shirleen and John, of Ogden, and Elmond Wilson, who is attending the BYU in Provo, visited at the home of their father, fath-er, John T. Wilson, over the weekend. week-end. The Ivan Morrills and Mrs. Ellis El-lis Morrill went to Salt Lake and Provo, Friday. Christa Ross was substitute cook at the Whiterocks Schools Friday, taking the place of Wanda Wan-da Morrill. I A missionary study class was held at the home of DeVon McKee Mc-Kee Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Ivan Ross of Little Bonanza, visited in Tridell Saturday. Satur-day. The Junior Huskies from Tridell Tri-dell played basketball with the Alterra Eagles at Alterra School Friday night. The Alterra Eagles won the game. TO GET DISCHARGE Bob Benson will be mustered out of the Army Thursday. Bob has spent the last two years at Fort Ord, Calif. Mrs. Benson, the former Lynn Goodrich, and baby daughter, have been living with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Owen Goodrich the last few months. |
