Show Mrs. Violet Gentry Mrs. Bertha Angus. I Brothers Serving In Armed Forces Pfc Bryan Gentry enlisted in ,the U. S. Marines, Feb. 27, 1950 nd received his boot training !at San Diego, California. He was then assigned, as Marine detachment, to the U. S. S. Princeton and is now on active duty in Korean waters. Pvt. Donald Gentry enlisted in the U. S. Army March 2. 1950 and received his boot training at Ford Ord. Calif. I He was then assigned to school at Camp Gordon, Georgia, where I he is still enrolled. The two boys are sons of Mr. and Mrs. Devon Gentry, of My-ton, My-ton, and grandsons of Mr and Mrs. Wm. Gentry, of Ioka. A recent letter from Donald, advised them that he is now going go-ing to school and studying toward becoming a crypto graphic operator. He says he had completed an 11-week course af the megsage center school prior to being admitted to this mo-e advanced training. He is in the signal corps and has become a teletype operator. Mr. and Mrs. Ben Webb, of Myton announce the birth of a son at the Roosevelt hospital, I Jan. 27. Ben is the son of Mr. I and Mrs. Edmund Webb, of ' Ioka. I Mrs. A E. Drolling'er. of Salt Lake, visited last week with I her. son and daughter-in-law, Bishop and Mrs. Clifford Drol- I linger, and her daughter, Mrs. Ralph Dart, and family. I Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Ferguson received word Saturday that they were grandparents to a new daughter born to their daughter, Mrs. Lyle Gingell, of Roosevelt. Mr. and Mrs. Tom Gentry, visited at the Virgil Ferguson home Friday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Lloyd Jensen were visitors Friday at the home of Mr. and Mrs. George Wedig, of Myton. Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Yergen-son, Yergen-son, of Myton, called on friends in Ioka, Friday, Mr. and Mrs. Jason Cuch and Joan Fern and Floyd Caudell, of Fort Duchesne, visited with Edna Angus Friday evening. Marie Benson is staying at the Ronald Benson home in Roosevelt Roos-evelt while the Bensons are visiting vis-iting in Idaho. Sunday being stake conference confer-ence in Roosevelt, no meetings were held in the ward, so that everyone could attend conference. confer-ence. I Mrs. Jennie Woodward, of Neola, is visiting her sister, Mrs. John Angus. Edna Angus left Saturday to .return to Sacramento. Califor-nia, Califor-nia, after spending the week I with her mother. |
