Show Lester Ilardman Killed In Traffic Accident MYTON The death of Lester Richard Hardman, 21, of My-ton, My-ton, in Salt Lake City at about 7 o'clock Wednesday evening, when he was struck by an automobile auto-mobile while crossing a street, raised Utah's death toll on the highways to 28 for 1951. According to a report from Salt Lake, young Hardman apparently ap-parently was crossing south across 21st South, when he was struck by a car driven by Dar-rell Dar-rell E. Herzog, 31, of Salt Lake. Investigating officers found Hardman lying on the street approximately 71 feet from the point of the impact when they arrived. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Salt Lake General hospital, having suffered chest injuries, a fractured frac-tured right thigh and severe shock. Mr. Hardman was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hyrum Hardman, and had moved to Myton about four years ago with his famly from Hanna. where he was born. He attened school at Han na and the Tabiona high school, and was to have entered the army next week. He was a member of the LDS church. He is survived by 11 brothers and sisters, all of Myton. Funeral arrangements will be announced by the Dillman mortuary, mor-tuary, of Roosevelt. |
