Show Ward Gold-Green Ball Set For Next Tuesday "Let Me Call You Sweetheart" Sweet-heart" has been chosen as the theme for the Roosevelt ward Gold and Green ball to be held Tuesday, February 13. at the Roosevelt stake hall. The dance will get underway with a floor show at 9 p. m. Valentine decorations dec-orations will be used to carry out the theme. Officers and class groups working on, various committees include Boy Scouts and Laren Young, decorations; Gleaners, Junior Gleaners. Mia -Maids, Explorers, and Ruth Fredrick-son, Fredrick-son, floor show; second year Beehive Girls and Hazel Hancock, Han-cock, programs; first year Beehive Bee-hive Girls and Jesse Chidister, refreshments; Special Interest class, and Orman Sullivan, publicity; pub-licity; orchestra and finances, Lewis Taylor. The floor show, which will be held at the beginning of the dance, will feature the coronation corona-tion of the queen; dances by class groups; singing of the theme song and a special dance number. The queen will be chosen from the following group of Gleaner Girls who have had at I least 65 per cent attendance at i Mutual this year, and the additional ad-ditional young ladies will serve as attendants to the queen. Those eligible for queen are Shirley Meyers, Lorna Anderson and JoAnne Nielson. |
