Show Will Serve In '52 .... Kiwanis Selects New Slate Of Officers Floyd R. Peterson. Uintah Basin distributor of the Royal BaKing Company, last night was elected president of the Roosevelt Roose-velt Kiwanis club to succeed J. D. Walker, who had served since the club was organized in April 1950. Other officers selected to serve with the new president, who is currently serving as vice president, were the following: Bert Burgess, building contractor, contrac-tor, first vice president; Wil-ford Wil-ford Robinson, manager of the Roosevelt Hi-Land Dairy plant, second vice-president; Parley Rawlings, painting contractor, treasurer. Directors elected were Grant Killian and Don Nielson, for two years; Howard Harm-ston, Harm-ston, Carl Harrison and Bert Gardner, as one-year directors. The new president and board met at the close of last nioht's meeting and reappointed Cliff Memmott as secretary. Two changes were noted in the election last night when the membership voted to name a second vice president, and to divide the secretary-treasurer assignment as-signment into two positions. Hold-over directors are Ted Harmston and John Zimmerman. The retiring president. Mr. Walker will become a member of the board of directors. In the near future, Presidentelect President-elect Peterson, the secretary and possibly the vice presidents, will attend a Utah-Idaho district training conference at Ogden, where newly elected officers will be schooled in their respective respec-tive duties. After which a club conference will be held to instruct in-struct committee chairmen and directors. The newly elected officers will be installed sometime the latter part of December or early in January, and will officially jtake over the t first of the year. |
